Aamir's actions and my thoughts

Adding this as an afterthought.
Narmada Bachao Andolan caught my attention even before Aamir Khan supported the issue.
I dont quite understand the issue and dont have a stand on it, but i do have my thoughts on Aamir khan supporting the issue.
I am not the biggest fan of watching Film stars make use of the media before promoting their latest release and it does look like Aamir khan is trying to make the best of times by being in the news and gaining enough mileage for both Fanaa and Rang De Basanti.
Even though i look at his actions from a critical point of view, i still appreciate the efforts the man took to visit and spend time at the place and
lend his voice and image to a very democratic protest. He is still better off than many of his colleagues who find the Summer in India the best time to take off for their Foriegn Tours ( not that i expect them to stay and sweat it out in the heat of india ) and entertain the expat indian while raking in the moolah.
I hope Aamir khan's concern is not *as i suspect* to gain publicity and he proves me wrong by taking a strong view on one of the brands ( which has raised a lot of environmental hue and cry) of which he is an Ambassador.
